Arteza Iridescent Acrylics

It’s been a busy day! I want to make a quick post before I call it quits. Just a little ‘pretty’ to maybe make you smile, or go oooooh! Something like that. I am working on a new project that I hope to be able to share with you before too much longer. Just came over me yesterday and now I am like all buried up to my eyebrows in stuff. Art stuff. Hahahaha! In the meantime I want to show you what I did yesterday.

Arteza just released this set of ten iridescent acrylic paints and I thought they would be amazing for gelli prints. At least I hoped so. Of course I ordered the set and they arrived yesterday.

I worked with three stencils so you are going to see some repetition. I love the colors! And all of them shimmer. I hope to be able to show you how I made a couple of these in the next couple posts.

Very vintage looking. And grungy. Yep. Old gunk on my plate because I never clean them.

I love this one!

These colors can be bright or they can be dulled down like this if you roll them thin enough.

Another favorite.

I really like this one a lot! Looks like old vintage – reminds me of my Grandmother.

These colors are beautiful and you can see I had a few definite favorite ones! Hahahaha! No surprise there!

I hope you have a great day! And if you read this, dear friend that is having something going on tomorrow – remember I am praying for you. God has this all under control. Love you so much! And if you are reading and you know I’m not talking about you – please say a prayer for my friend. Thank you!

  2. I’m glad He knows & wherever we are we can pray for one another. The grunginess is delightful & I’d imagine an interesting combination in reality with the iridescence. That green one appeals to me too.

    • these photographed decently but you just don’t get that shine they have in person – and thank you for the prayers. I appreciate you, sister, more than I could ever tell you. <3
