Last week I showed you an ATC I made for the letter R – it was a rose. Today I want to show you the other ATC I made for the swap in Creative Crafty Friends and it is one of my favorites!
I had this great collage sheet of rabbits and wanted to use one of them on this project. So I started by pulling out items that could go with the color scheme I chose of pinks and blues
I wanted to keep this ATC fairly basic. I had way too many things to accomplish and basic was a good fit with my schedule. Hahaha! Those triangles were a 2″ square that I cut in half. It was part of a Dylusions Ink piece I had on hand. I took the rabbit and the triangles and ran them through my sticker maker.
Before I adhered the triangles I inked their edges with salty ocean Distress Ink.
Those half circles were a sticker that I cut in half and stuck in place. Through that middle section I wanted to add some printemps. I started with a black fineliner, then changed to a marble pen from Zebra Pen. I knew that one black printemps would get covered up so I didn’t worry about it. You can hide a multitude of boo-boos under a bunny. Hahahaha!
I figured out the spacing of my cute little rabbit, placed her and cut the excess off the bottom. Sorry, cute little rabbit!
I do love these Dyestress Ink Pads! And this posy color went with my color scheme!
So I inked the edges and scuffed some color across parts of the ATC – including the bottom of the rabbit that was way too white.
I went over the ears and cheeks with a clear glitter gelly roll pen and added a little gold gelly roll to the belt. That posy pink inked edging didn’t pop like I wanted it to, so I went over parts of the edges with a black ink pad. And I liked it better!
I have this great little set of alphabet stamps that I got at Michael’s like twenty years ago for one dollar. I used those to stamp rabbit – just in case there was any question about what R word this ATC was for.
Felt like this cute little rabbit needed a little more bling! So gemstones were the perfect addition!
I was really liking this ATC quite a lot at this point!
Like I said, it’s one of my favorite ATCs so far.
