Week 13 of The 100 Day Project

Yayayayay!!! I see the end in sight!

I kicked off week 13 with a simple tile on day 85. These flowers are a pattern I named floral. Fun, easy and quick to tangle up a bunch of them or just a few. That background is ‘nzeppel without the rounded out corners. I love doing drop shadows like this! For each day this week I used a YouTangle.art Tile from Hahnemühle and my great little Technical Drawing Pens from Zebra Pen. A win/win combination every way you look at it!

Day 86 was a fun one! First time for me drawing this pattern from Tomás Padrós – it’s called All Stars. The color is from Kelly Creates Aqua Brushes and water. Fun tile!

I was more familiar with these patterns – got stars and footlites – for day 87. Again the color is Kelly Creates Aqua Brushes and water. So many different ways to use these brush pens. I really like the splotchy effects in this one!

And once in awhile I like to go back to my tangle roots and just use black ink on a white tile. That’s all boxed up across the middle and airways on either side. Threw in a bit of printemps because I could. Day 88.

On my computer screen these are sooooooo big. Remember these YouTangle tiles are 3.5″ square. So – small art that you can create in 15 minutes or so. Day 89 was all about betweed and a fun way to draw it! Not your stuffed shirt version but the fancy I’m-going-to-a-party version. Hahahahaha!

Day 90 was fun! That band across the middle is called crease – it’s from Sam Taylor, the same lady who gave us narwal. The rest is a bunch of diva dance rock ‘n roll. Can you tell it was really late at night when I did this one? Hahahahaha!

And the last one for this week – day 91 – combines a bunch of round patterns. And apparently I really enjoyed the black on white because I did that a lot this week! Patterns – jetties, Beauchamp with baubles and printemps. Of course! Hahahaha! It was a fun week. Just nine more days to go and I will include all those in one post – probably.

If you are looking for a place to hang out and tangle – or to learn how to tangle – come join us on FB at Tangle All Around. I have an amazing group of tanglers who will answer all your questions and be nice and friendly and helpful. We pretty much rock! Just sayin!

  1. I think the relief at the approaching finish line is apparent in these tiles. There’s a real sense of abundance and drive. My favourite is the Betweed – it looks wonderful like that!

    • thanks and it’s fun to draw that way. I will have great relief when this is done. it’s a great project but it goes on too long

  2. Thank heavens for the YouTangle tile. Even when you’re champing at the bit for the end of the 100 project, they’re small enough that you produce great art! Of course, being incredibly talented helps immensely!

    • I’ll just be glad to have this over with. not even kidding. but yes, those tiles are wonderful. those and the technical pens. match made in heaven. or Germany/the US hahahaha!

  3. Congratulations on all of your perseverance, all of you. I know myself well enough not to start it. Between quilting, painting watercolor and zentangle I get easily distracted, lol 😜

    • yep, I have too many irons in the fire, too. next year. remind me not to do this myself hahahahaha!

  4. Those drop shadows in the background for your Floral look great & I can see you took the footnotes & got stars in your stride, familiarity does help enormously doesn’t it? I think my favourite of all though has to be that Betweed closely followed by the red Diva Dance Rock ‘n Roll roses tile.

    • I really enjoy drawing betweed that way but I always have to look at one I’ve drawn before to be able to do it. I can’t remember it
